What does it mean? 

QPASA  comes from the initials in spanish of CHEMISTRY, OIL AND ENVIRONMENT, and was founded by experts in the chemical sector in Zulia State; in order to give PDVSA (Venezuela state oil operator) and its joint ventures, a wider range of options with time in solving problems in the productive area. 

When did the company initiates operations? 

We started on March 2008, hoping to develop in the service sector in chemical applications for the oil and petrochemical sector, mainly in the productive sector of industry. 

Who are we? 

QPASA, is a company that belongs to the sector of the Small and Medium Industry, 100% Venezuelan capital created to meet specific needs of the oil sector, petrochemical, steel and related to the efficient use of chemicals and application of new technologies to ensure higher productivity.

Its activity also falls in the production processes and reduction of environmental liabilities generated by the production and environmental impact studies in the oil sector. Also identification, transportation and disposal of hazardous wastes generated by the oil industry, and remediation, sanitation and recovery of polluted areas. 

What do we do?  

• QPASA’s activity is focused on finding solutions suitable chemical after examining the issues raised in the petroleum and petrochemical industry.
• Ensuring a safe and reliable supply of products and services in the field.
• Ensuring access to the best technology available at the national and international market, but considering the first line, manufactured in the country
• To observe the downstream environmental impact of production processes and provide solutions to these in advance.
• "MORE OIL, MORE GAS" is our slogan and our activity is accompanied by nacional production, chemicals projects; considering national infrastructure under the principle of complementarity in the production chain. Qpasa makes its best efforts to be considered the right solution.

• Synthesis and manufacturing base demulsifier semi-universal based on nonyl- butyl- amyl- dodecyl resins for treating of heavy and extraheavy crude oil of national output.
• Development and Selection of scale inhibitor of national output.
• Development of paraffin solvents and inhibitors of national production.
• Development of solvents and asphaltene inhibitors of national production.
• Coagulant and claryfying chemicals for treating wastewater effluent.
• Continous collection system for slop oil recovery at pits and API separators.
• Development and implementation of bio-dispersant for the recovery of oil spills at the Oil Industry.
